@waldo2414 Thats a very old design. The F-117 is even taken out of service vecause it was old. The new stealth technology is on a different level than the old one from the late 70`ies. The iranians never locked any missiles on the drone. It was not shot down.

Norwegian, if the Russia radars are 'not that good', tell it to the F-117 pilot in Bosnia when suddenly he got knocked out of the air and, importantly, the Russians got the F-117 to study and now have a UAV stealth drone that the Iranians just gave them.

You don't know that, you are guessing. ONLY a real confrontation would tell the story. The F-22 is a tremendous a/c however the B-2 is the one that might likely to be deployed ahead of the Raptor but even the B-2 would not be 'first in'. That task would be charged to UCAV's, TLAM's and ELINT drones.
