  • lmao I went to FFA and there were these two guys playing eachother. This asian guy using ken and some other guy using Yun. I versed them, and needless to say, my chun-li got massacred and I'm an above average player myself. I left the arcade, pissed off and disappointed. Later I learned that I was playing Pyrolee and 5 star! LMAO

  • I remember I used to beat down amir when he first started playing at the UCLA arcade hahaha.

  • These finals were almost entirely made up of top tier characters. It's really annoying to see the same characters over and over again. I'm glad I saw Oro in there, but unfortunately he ended up losing. With SF2 and 4 I can see a large variety of characters (usually) in tourneys because the games are balanced enough so you can use the character you like and still go a long way. HOORAY FOR HAYAO!

  • I've never seen Pyrolee get beat 3 times in a row.

  • Amir is too good.

  • amir's chun is amazing

  • Wrong. SA2 for Yun is by no means a shitty super. The bar isn't that large, and you've got 3 stocks. You can hit confirm with low strong just like ken, and it sets up crossup games afterwards. EX shoulder is just fine. He retains the EX upkicks as well [though it's not that great].

There's no way Yun himself is a low tier character. His normals and his divekick as well as SA2 make sure he'd be at least mid.

  • His EX moves suck, his dash punch is unsafe in most situations, what else does he have? He would just be a crappy Yang without Genei Jin. GJ makes Yun. See if Chun lost SA2 she could still poke. If Ken lost Shippu he could still throw out high damage shoryu combos. If Yun lost GJ he would lose most of his damage and pressure.

  • I doubt for a second that he'd become "low tier" purely by losing his GJ. :P

Granted, he would slip somewhat though...

  • Kenmasters12345 is kinda right tho. If u took away GJ then Yun would be a low tier character. Its not just that its a small meter, its that its a pretty safe super and gives some of his hits Super level priority meaning it will beat anything they throw out. It pretty much forces a block, then you still have a chance to get the combo out of high, low or throw OR atleast get some random hits in for payoff. Then within moments its recharged and you put the pressure back on.

  • Yun's always been my favorite character, when I saw Pyrolee use him live I was ecstatic, it's one thing to watch it on youtube, another to watch it live, man,

  • Can I participate?

    I live in Brazil.
