Your an idiot how would buying more gas help the economy. Do you even know what percent of the fuel we buy in America is actually American. Most of the gas sold in America is from foreign suppliers. so if we spend more money on gas we only help other nations not ourselves.

And who said that fishing is declining tons of people still fish. It is even a good thing according to me that there is a limited supply of anglers. there's a better fish to angler ratio.

@chicagoblast well.....America isn't really "buying" fuels from other nations. their getting in there, sucking it out and selling it to the world.... So in a way it is helping the U.S economy because your Government and oil companies are getting a share of the taxes you pay for your fuel. By the way, DAVE MERCER IS AWESOME!

I am glad to say Dave that i have got 8 of my freinds really into bass fishing, Thats all we do these days, BMX/MTB/Moto/ <--- That stuff is been kinda on hold. But well worth it. GO FISHING

that's exactly how I got started fishing - a friend took me catfishing once in the mid-1980s and we caught em like wildfire! And I thought, "wow, fishing is easy - and fun!" I didn't know it wasn't like that all the time... LOL but I was totally hooked!  I've since introduced my children, nephews, nieces, etc. to fishing and they all love it.

I took my cousin fishing and she didn't like it. Then I recalled I did not teach how to cast and now she loves it. She just likes to cast. She almost caught a pike.
