I hope you enjoy this slideshow presentation, with all scenes taken in
and around the Great Smoky Mountains of Eastern Tennessee and Western
North Carolina. Fall is a beautiful time to visit the Smokies.

The background music is the song "SUGARLANDS SUITE", from the CD entitled "THE SOUNDS OF THE GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS", and is available for purchase at many retailers in the surrounding Smokie's towns, and at all the Smokies' Visitor Centers.

  • Thank you for sharing this lovely video. Who cares about how it was filmed or uploaded? I certainly don't. It doesn't change the beauty of the scenery or your generosity in sharing it with us. I love it!

  • @WhiteRobeOfPeace Thank you very much for your comments. Its nice to know that there are some people who can just enjoy something without feeling the need to criticize it. I appreciate your watching, and glad you enjoyed it.

  • Why the devil are there so many fall foliage videos done in poor quality with pictures that don't fill the whole screen?

  • @kmcner1543 Okay, 2 things....As for the pictures filling the whole screen, I posted this when I first got my video editing software, and didn't know how to completely make those adjustments at the time. And sometimes the pictures appear "stretched" when you make them fill the screen. Most of the people who watchted this video enjoyed it anway, and I'm sorry it upsets you so much. Maybe you shouldn't watch it.

  • @kmcner1543 And as for the quality, I don't like that part any better than you do. These pics were taken with a High Def camera, and why they uploaded in only 240p quality, I do not understand either. Most of my other vids, if you will notice, are higher quality. This was simply a glitch, or problem in the way it uploaded to YouTube, and I don't know what to do to improve it. Again, if it bothers you, then maybe you should take a break from it.

  • Loved the video - I can't wait to go back to Gatlinburg again! Do you know exactly where the shot at 1:04 was taken?

  • @FIREBRAVE623 Yes, it was taken on the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, after you begin the descent back into Gatlinburg. I don't remember exactly what spot, but I know it isn't long after you begin the descent back down. A number of river scenes on that road, and The Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail is a MUST-SEE in the fall. Last year, we went up in early November and there was actually snow mixed with the fall colors, and was one of the most beautiful times I have ever been there.

  • Loved the video. Do no know much about the technical aspects of uploading a video...just enjoy it.

  • @FIREBRAVE623 You can also check out that November video on my other YouTube channel, which is DSHinNC1969, and look for the video entitled “Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail”-Great Smoky Mountains“. And you can see this exact spot on video instead of just a picture, between 1:21-1:31

  • @64nashoba Thank you for the comments, and I am glad you enjoyed it!
