  • @BroRogerAdonaiChurch did you watch the video, because he addresses the point?

  • @polopowers1 amen i agree. what steve is preaching right here is a heresy called antionism.

  • I agree it is written and directed towards those (Gnostics) who needed to hear it - as there were some who "went out from amongst us who were not of us " (John says in another place), infiltrated the church who said there is no such thing as son. Anyway the thing is we don't lose fellowship Everytime we sin! Ok?! Understand? God won't cast you out ok!

    He is in you

    To stay:)

  • Very true! Me and Jesuz we are close bro!

  • When we do wrong, we are out of fellowship with MAN. Man can never SO LOVE as God does. Man only LOVE SO...so long as...

  • 1John was not written to unbelievers neither is any scripture because no scripture can be undestoood without the Spirit. Man can value its morality and concepts but God never wrote for non believers.Even the elect receiving the message receive it to be believers. This is a great error interperting any scripture in the context that some was written for unbelievers.

  • @EhJayJC The sandals were a symbol of freedom, as slaves couldn't wear them, the robe a symbol of dignity and honor, sonship, the ring being the family ring showing authority and his place as son in the household.

  • If, as stated in the story of the prodigal son, there was no change in relationship, why did the Father bestow the ring, clothes and sandal on his, all representing different aspects of their healed relationship. I think what you're getting at was said well by Augustine: "You were within me, but I was outside, and it was there that I searched for you. In my unloveliness I plunged into the lovely things which you created. You were with me, but I was not with you."

  • Very good video. I believe your points are suprising yet valid. I believe that Church has complicated the simple message of God: to love him. It is a simple message. As long as we find our love for God then we will be better men. In life and eternity.
