Joethemusician buys a new English Horn

I bought an English Horn! I'm still learning to make English Horn reeds and I'm still adjusting to this instrument but I can tell after a few more months of experimenting I'm really going to love what I have! This reed feels a little bit stiff and I think I'm "biting" the pitch up but I'm generally pleased with the sound I'm getting. I'll post more videos throughout the summer as I continue to get more comfortable with this wonderful horn.

I think you are suffocating the reed a bit too much. Let it vibrate, and give it a solid air stream, you play beautifully! :D

@AnishProductions i think the reed was just way too hard to be played on at the time of this video... i really should have spent a few more minutes balancing before recording... c'est la vie! Thanks for the comment :)

I believe Lorées are the best EHs and Marigauxs are the best Oboes too :)
