20: Detective Fashion vs Detective Function

Continuing from the previous episode, Detective Function has now moved into Fashion's office and three new phone lines have been installed. Function has also persuaded Fashion to give him his chair making the introduction to the show hard to record for Fashion. Having earlier disallowing Function from making personal phone calls, Fashion is forced to fabricate a case in order to disguise a call from Sandy. Visiting Reg Edit the two detectives undertake a seemingly simple case of recovering Reg's number 9 brush. Constantly aggravating Fashion the other detective disapproves of the footprint method instead favouring fingerprints. After a brief flash back in which Fashion remembers his mother and original childhood intention to become a detective, the brush is the recovered by Function. Returning to the office Fashion decides he'd rather work alone and has the uncomfortable duty of asking Function to leave. Furious at the way he a has been treated Function storms off taking his telephones with him.
