Bro itl only use what it can get and u wont get anymore power from a shitty computer psu believe me.. these things pump out pleanty of juice :) the fusion had a max current rating of around 120A and that wass peaking with the splx. But yeah that amp doesnt have internal fuses on it i dont think so ul should a fuse but i dont really think its necessary only really need one if its in a car incase it shorts. The power supplies have fuses on them so yea, DW Those fusions will go mental :D
@ARGElOwRiDa ok man, thanks for the help. How much are these power supplies and where can I get them? I looked at esquares website but its an imported goods shop, and there wasn't anything about power supplies.
go to: House Setup Update #2: Subwofoer OFF VS Subwoofer ON, Tech N9ne - My World in my videos and at 24sec you can see them. I used to run a computer PSU and it sucked bad (used a 430W Thermaltake) no power these things are heeeappps better!!!!!
@ARGElOwRiDa DF-1766 DC Power Supplies - 13.8V, 25-27A. Would that power my fusion amp safely? because it says in the manual its max current is 218A. and it needs a 200A fuse. Im pretty confused seeing that they only do 27A and combined thats only 54A, and thats no where near 218A. Would i need 5 of these power supplies or something? lol I have no idea.
I've got a spare DC Power Supply but I would reccomend running two of them as I was. I was getting pretty much full power on a 1100W Fusion Monoblock with an splx. Not sure but esquare sunnynook might still have a few you could buy.
@ARGElOwRiDa What type of DC power supply are you talking about. I have no clue what they are lol. Could you link me a few pictures of the power supply?
