MOSHI Interactive Voice Response Alarm Clocks. If clock is plugged in using the AC adapter, the clock will respond voice trigger mode is enabled. A human voice will allow for the activation of all commands, e.g., Hello Moshi will set time/alarm (alarm sound), date, current date, temperature. There are four different alternating color backgrounds for speaking, listening and temperature---a night light will alternate in 6 colors. The clock will respond to choose a sleep sound, say sound one (water), sound two (birds), sound three (waterfall). Of the 12 spoken commands, the 12th is HELP---say MOSHI to get a help-list. If using just battery-power one must press the display to engage the clocks functions. SNS International (Model # MLC 489) 2009 (istcc)

  • the error when setting the alarm clock is because hes saying "ok i'll say it again" before he says the time.

not to menchen he talks like Dustin Hoffman from Rainman, that might be why it doesnt understand him

  • 0:40 - Did it just make a Windows XP error sound?

  • This clock (and actually other voice recognition products too perhaps) would be nicer if the name was configurable... I'd much rather one named "Laura" or something :-)

  • Hello, gladstone55. I have a quick inquiry. I recently attempted to visit your online museum of clocks, as I hadn't taken a peek since last Spring. However, when I entered the URL into Internet Explorer, I recieved a page cannot be found error, the old style version from Windows XP downward. is the online museum unfortunately shut down, or has the server been offline for a bit? Thanks!

  • Instead of having a conversation with the clock, just saying what is required will eliminate the "errors". Telling it "Ok, I'll say it again" while it's waiting for the correct information will throw it off. And I don't think it's all that necessary to tell it to "have a good day".

  • Why are you saying all of those other things before setting the alarm, time and whatnot? It makes the machine look like an idiot, when honestly, I have this clock and it works beautifully. I had two of my fans running today and the clock heard me loud and clear when I was stating commands. I know you're just playing around, but when you're trying to show people how well a product works, it would be helpful if you didn't clown around. Just a suggestion.

  • it would be nice if you didn't have to say "hello moshi" every time you wanted to command it. maybe just "moshi"? in all that time you could just look at the clock to see the time. only time it would be useful the way it is would be for setting time/alarm/date.

  • COOL!!!

  • i was siting next to my moshi and when when you talked my moshi was freaking out

    lolXD

  • How do you set the date?

  • @jerome96114 Yup it is possible! :3

  • Ok i'll try again.......Moshi ....10.05pm ..LOL .....these are moments of technology history!!
