@IITallikaII why yes, yes i do. ^.^ but perhaps i shouldnt get into it, i like to keep opinions i have on those certain subjects to myself, not because they're really personal or anything, but bc im usually terrible at explaining myself, and i dont want to sound, idk, stupid. :P lol

Tashwaaaa...The Goddess is in our hearts. Paganism encompasses many "organized religions". We hold many of those near and dear to us. This wedding was our spiritual union, a blend of many traditions and religions...and was the most perfect ceremony for US. Maybe not what you would do, but that's you...not us. That prayer from St. Francis of Assisi encompasses what we strive for in our marriage and I know God/Goddess held him in great esteem.

To clear up the whole "barefoot" debate.. :) Looney, I do agree with you, I've always loved being barefoot, makes me feel closer to the "source". It wasnt required everyone go barefoot, wanted our bridal party to be comfortable...no "rules" (we did want everyone in white). I am happiest barefoot...so thats the way I chose to spend the day. (especially fun while dancing to jazz/blues/funk in the grass ;) If others wanted shoes, they were worn. Wouldnt have wanted it any other way! *BLESSED BE*

I don't understand. Why is everyone laughing?
belliniable 1 year ago
@belliniable Because there was so much joy that day. The only way to express it was through tears and laughter ;)

Im thinking of having a hippie wedding, I was wondering what songs you played at yours?

@aZbroful
we had a blues band play and it was SO much fun. Also, our friend played acoustic guitar as we walked down the aisle. I would recommend getting a funky blues-y kind of band as well because it's so much fun and it was great music that all ages could groove to :)
