No. Wrong. Very, very wrong. Helmet consistently released good albums throughout their whole career. Meantime may have been the only one with any mainstream potential, and it is still the best album they've recorded, but you're still very wrong.

And frankly, have you actually got any of their albums other than Meantime? If you're panning their entire discography, then I doubt it.

Dude, Meantime is good, but certainly not their best. Betty is far superior....even Strap It On is better, IMHO. That they've consistently released good albums is a gross understatement. Even their most recent 'album' MONOCHROME beats the shit out of most of the refried bean crap that comes out these days. Page Hamilton is a goddamn genius!!!

By the way, the most under-rated band ever is Kyuss. Helmet is right there in the top-10 though. But who cares....I listen!

That's just a matter of opinion. I mean, i'm not about to come out attacking your point of view, but I still find Meantime to be their best work. Betty and Strap It On are also fantastic albums, though.

And yeah, while Monochrome is probably their weakest album, it's still better than 99% of the crap that comes out these days.

And Kyuss are definitely underrated. I still prefer Helmet, but hey.

Of course, my vote for "Most Underrated Artist Ever" goes to Therapy?, naturally.
