thank you for posting. my partner and i stayed at the Excellence Punta cana in the Dominican Repuplic and the holiday was amazing. we where looking to try another of their resorts and this has helped me make up my mind to go for it. Can't wait.

@TheUltimateVacations I thought it was heaven on earth when I went. The only small complaint was that the lobby wreaked of a string spearmint smell. It was like having to check in inside a mouth full of chewing gum. I felt sorry for the people who worked at the front desk.

My girlfriend and I are 18 & 19, respectively, and are wondering if you think this would be as suitable to our age group as it was to any of yours?
We're not looking for a "spring break" type weekend, which is what we're worried we might find elsewhere, but a suitably romantic one-year anniversary that would be somewhat quiet and yet sociable. I.E: Good food, intimate settings, other people and employee friendliness.

@Tniggz Hi there & thanks for your comment. I would have to say that you are absolutely describing Excellence!!! You definitely get great service, food, & drink. I will say that there won't be too many in your exact age group, but there will be many in their 20's, 30's, & 40's+. I am actually in my mid-20's, while Jay is in his 50's and we both love it the same. But no matter age, you will find everyone friendly & young at heart. I hope this helps you out!
