woo, may be we will see the real Xmen in our life...... hard bones, just kidding

Man those guys marketing carbon nano tubes are really pushing their product.

From what I remember if you apply a small current to carbon or titanium nanomesh the bone cells will grow on it. I've also heard of a genetically modified spidersilk high in silicon that works as a scaffold for growing bone tissue outside of the body in a tissue printing bioreactor.

His voice sounds funny

@bullitbenny actually, thats not true. If it heals up, the part where it broke is 'rebuilt' by the body thicker and stronger, so if this bone breaks again, it will least likely break at exactly the same place. Muscle Growth works the same way, because when you use muscles you suffer microsropic inguries that heal up thicker and stronger than before.

I would be concerned about using Carbon Nanotubes for in-vivo procedures like this. Presently they've published a few articles claiming possible carcinogenic reactions comparable to Asbestos and brain reactions in some organisms that lead to alzheimer's-like symptoms. I'd like to see them work around that first before I put it in my body.

If you break a bone, it is weakened and prone to breaking again

no if your bones break then your bones get thicker, instead of being light with holes in it it fills up those little holes you might sink in the water...
