  • PLease watch Face The Truth. Racism cannot be dealt with in Japan because there are no laws against it. In the USA there are at least laws to protect all people (children included)

  • I know this is based of off a true story, and I'm not trying to sympathize with anyone. But this man lived in Japan for 6 years and he can't (won't?) speak a work of Japanese other than "sumimasen"? I don't know the story, so I can't say much, but I just thought that when watching.

  • This is a dramatization. The real father is 100% fluent and acts as a translator.

  • Sadly true enough..I lived in Japan for 16years and felt a lot of racism at times. My wife wanted a divorce moved out to some secret apartment. I guess the plan is to cut all ties as I have had no real contact with my children one is 4 and the other 14. I miss them love and them ..I still search for a happy solution . Japan can be a very sad place to be.All you can do is try to think positive through the tears. For me it has been a living nightmare and I still can't believe it.

  • I can hardly believe that this will happen in Japan. This movie is overly exaggerated.

I do not deny racism in Japan, but there are racism in US, too.

I had a hard time living in US because my English is not perfect and treated horribly and faced many racism!!

Many English speaker doesn't even try to learn Japanese in Japan and are not able to see good sides of Japan.

  • What a sad film...
