@angellicvoices They will, if enough time passes and their population survives. Black skin is an evolutionary advantage in tropical environments with lots of UV radiation.

We actually have a case of reversion to black skin in humans: Mesoamericans are brown today, having lived in the tropics for 10000 years - yet their ancestors were light-skinned (they are also the ancestors of the East Asians - Chinese, Japanese, etc.)

@54markl The Khoisan are just as related genetically to the archaic Homo Sapiens population as the rest of us. They just happened to be the first group to split away for the "trunk" of the Homo Sapiens tree, so they are the most genetically distant from the other human populations. We are all branches of that population (some of us with some contributions from totally different "trunks" - e.g. Neanderthals and Denisovans).

The Khoisan people look like all the races mixed up together. It's clear they are the orignal race of humanity, the one that all other races come from. This is who came out of Africa and spread around the world. They're our ancestors.
