@EvilxMerlin Yje Am-120 still has half the range of the Meteor which is entering serice shortly.....and the F-22...never seen or will seen combat unline the Rafale or Typhoon which have seen combat. BTW,,video is about the Su-35...a very good and capable aircraft

The F-22 is actually LESS expensive than the Typhoon II Tranche 2. And the original AIM-120 was outperformed by the Meteor's prototypes. Remember that the Meteor isn't even in service yet but the AIM-120D Enhanced will be in service at the same time, and will have a longer range and superior avionics package. Not to mention EVERY SINGLE AIM-120 fired in Anger has successfully hit its target.

F-22 most likely won't see combat because if its enormous per unit cost
Am-120 argument kind of defeated by the Meteor missile that has twice the range..and the USAF opted out of developing or purchasing it...
