Tales of Vesperia - Final Boss Part 1

We find Duke in the garden at the top of Tarqaron doing some rather ominous looking work. He no longer trusts humans and is skeptical of their ability to change, adapt, and live without blastia. Duke is still determined to sacrafice humanity to destroy the Adephagos and return Terca Lumireis to it's original state. Brave Vesperia tries to convince Duke that their method of converting the blastia to spirits is the best way to destroy the Adephagos, but Duke's stance on the issue never wavers and he has no plans of listening to us. The fate of Terca Lumireis will be decided in one ultimate battle.

Duke's fighting style is pretty awesome. He doesn't even need to hold his sword in hand to use it. I can see why he was the hero of the Great War. Duke has a deceptively large range on his attacks and can inflict all kinds of nasty status effects such as sealed artes, sealed skills, contamination, paralysis, weak, as well as phystical and magic attack debuffs. Using the proper skills and accessories to get around this problem make the fight much easier.

The teleporting kind of got to me, but Duke isn't the hardest final boss ever. Elraine is. :)

ive played tales of symphonia, tales of phantasia very easily on hardest difficulty on both and i just beat vesperia and holy shaz. Duke kept escaping my combos and infecting me with some random disease i swear i most likely said "you bitch!!" at least 50 times and i got more mad when i realized it was on normal oh boy its gonna be hellz trying to fight him on unknown without the battle system completely figured out wish me luck!

I like the little interchangeable speeches before the final battle that change depending on the character your currently playing.
