"Ocean Adventures" (Original Song) - Valerie Yap

I didn't intend to write a song, but this is one of those songs that just "happened" earlier in the morning. Recorded with GarageBand in one take--very raw, vocals and guitars in the same track. Additional track with beach sounds taken from simplynoise.com . The video was shot using PhotoBooth's "Light Tunnel" effect--I put on a colourful nightgown with fish on it and decided to move around in front of the camera to create this effect.

We can stop to drink a cup of tea
In a beautiful garden here under the sea
With the octopus we'll sing along
To the water beetle's song

And if you find some shiny pearls
Will you string me a necklace to wear with my curls
We can float around this Atlantis in style
Pretend it's all real for a while
