This video shows a few different ways to help newer gamers, and please leave your feedback on how you have helped in the past. Sorry this did not upload yesterday. I had uploading problems.
nicest thing i have ever done was about a week ago on my 85 pally and i found 4 lows on my server and ran them thru instances for a total of 6 or 7 hours and when we started they were level 20 and when we finished they were almost level 60 and in outland
The thing I've done most recently was I gave away 2k gold to a pally in my guild who needed shoulder pads. I also ran low low levels through Stocks and gave them 500g each so they'd be set till like 30 or 40. -Tree.
Well I met this guy on WoW who was lvl 20 at the time and I helped him through stockades this is after cata came out so i was 83 and i would pull at least half of the instance and get him through fast but he's lvl 70 now but i help him with money now because i cant go too fast in 70 dungeons but then again he will get loot so i do go every now and then and I agree with you that you shouldnt give to people who beg because it is annoying thats the kinda people that i say earn it yourself.
I help lower levels everyday even if I never had an 85. I help those truly new players that just joined. I remember this one time on my level 46 pally I would wait on the path from Northshire Abbey to Goldshire and give them 5 gold each and a little bit of help if they dont know what they were doing. Also if I am mining and making bars that I do not need and I see someone blacksmithing I would give them the bars I just made because I mean..I dont need them and they would just go into the Gbank
The nicest thing i've ever done was when i was leveling my herbalism up, at that time i was herbing in Westfall. A level 12 rogue asks me if i could help him to complete a few quests. I said sure, then i gave him around 35gold, 3 runs in Deadmines so he got some blues and greens. He was literally jumping for joy:) That was a nice feeling
A level 16 hunter needed food for his pet and he told me it would only eat bread...after playing for for 5 years i just realized there were no bread vendors in orgrimmar...so I baked him some spice bread (about 80) to send him on his way :D
