navy smaller than 1917? Air Force smaller than the 1940s? A single Nimitz carrier can annihilate a 1917's fleet many times over. One plane with a few smart bombs can destroy a building where it took a huge fleet of B17s in WW2 to do the same job. You dont need these massive fleets anymore with the advancements in technology.

i feel like ron paul is our only hope. sure his foreign policy ideas are alittle out there, but he really seems to be the only sound canidate that isnt exactly the same as every president we've had

Why did this not ruin his campaign? He says it's ok for the military to arrest you without a trial and have you thrown in jail indefinitely even if you are a suspect terrorist and people applauded it? Everyone should have booed that. Nobody I know actually likes the NDAA. How the hell could he still have support after just admitting that he'd violate the Constitution? I knew America had a lot of stupid people but this is insane.
