Jacare won the game but lost the fight

Stop the bullshit that jacare was disgraceful.Jacare won the fight becaus he had the better positioning,he took gracies back for an extended period of time and was not put in a bad position (read position as in a grappling position)by Roger.He won on points.As for the armbar, it does not count towards points because it is what it is,an attempt.If your opponent does not tap,then it is not important.Jacare attampted 20 RNC while riding his back. It was wise to just let the time run out defending.

Some guys here criticize Roger for not being able to take him down. You know that this is not a one-fight-a-day-show like the modern ufc... This was Roger's last fight of the day, facing the top guys in the sport, last 2 minutes of the fight, after you have broken your oponent's arm, and that same oponent keeps running out of bounds as soon as you get near him. Its pretty easy to sit back in your computer and trash Roger for not being able to take jacare down. continues...

Epic fight. I respect Jacare´s comitment to get the win. He did what he had to do. I whould have tapped, but im not jacare and fighting is not my profession. Beautifull armbar by Roger, and great sportmanship on his behalf aplauding Jacare in the end. Roger could have just grabed his arm and shake that thing till jacare passed out just from the pain, but he didnt. Was is sportmanship? lack of killer instinct? tiredness, i don´t know. Still it was an epic battle, and i love watching it.

huge jacare fan, but:

1) if someone completes a submissions (ie: breaks his opponent's arm with an armbar), they should be given the match

2) blatantly running away and running out of bounds for no other reason than to stall out the clock should be grounds for a DQ

jacare is the man, and anyone who'd let their arm snap for a tournament victory is a true warrior, but roger won this

better man? because he did caught into the armbar doesnt mean the game is over. you can dodge a kick and win the game, but you can also take a kick and win a game. whats the difference?
