This is a song that was written by Reginald Heber in 1826 he was a Bishop in the Church of England. After Heber's unexpected death at age 43, his wife found the song amongst some of his writings, and passed it on to noted musician John B. Dykes (1823-1876), who composed and arranged the hymn for publication.it is found in many church Hymn books, and was even in our school Hymn book, Beutifully brought to life by this splendid bouquet of voices !
(Beautifully) this is how you spell the word SWIFRICAN

I've enjoyed listening to Acappella & AVB since the late '80's-early '90's, the praise to the Father & how it can uplift my spirit is amazing.
