Dassault Systemes of France has made an admirable effort to provide an entertaining view of the Great Pyramid, but does their art work stand up to the challenge of science? Jean Pierre Houdin has put forth a rather interesting presentation. Can it be true?

  • This reconstruction shows the plateau after the building of Khufu's pyramid. The fact that Khafre's and Menkaure's pyramids are not present, as well as absence of the sphinx just suggest that this reconstruction is set late in Khufu's reign, or during the reign of the succeeding king Djedefre and do not make it inaccurate.

  • Thank you for making the point wherein you are confusing entertainment and education. It is deceptive as most art is.
