Celtic Frost - Progeny (Guitar Cover)

Love this song, so damn heavy! I'm not entirely sure it makes for a good YouTube cover though as there's not a lot going on in it. Also, I should probably have spent a little more time learning it before I recorded. This is only the second time I've ever played the song the whole way through. I pretty much nailed it, but there's a few little mistakes and missed cues here and there. Most noticably on the last note, doh! Back to recording guitar and backing track through the camera at the same time for now, not really happy with the levels here either. Come to think of it, why the hell did I post this?!

Progeny is the opening track on Celtic Frosts astonishing 2006 album "Monotheist". Buy it!

@suffersystemdegrees Thanks man! I'm playing through a Marshall 15watt practice amp with the whole thing recorded straight onto the camera using the built in mic. Nothing fancy!

great job! two questions: how did you tuned the guitar and where did you get the tap?

If I remember correctly I think it's in drop B tuning (B,F#,B,E,G#,C#). I didn't use any tab, just figured it out as I was going along. Once you've got the guitar tuned right it's fairly easy to work out.
