i agree that the position of the bass is "awkward" but have you seen anything done by Gary Karr? his playing of the first mvt. of the Koussevitzky Concerto is amazing

well, he has a very unorthodox style of playing in the thumb position, as the standard is to take a step back and let the bass sit on your hip. but hey, whatever works. Awesome solo

Bem, vocês que curtem ficar fazendo crítica e em inglês ainda o que é pior já que eu entendo inglês mas duvido que vocês entendam português , o cara mandou muito bem e muito melhor do que os outros gringos que eu vi tocando (europeus por sinal). Então ao invés de criticarem vão aprender a tocar pois pelo nível de exigência que vocês estão criticando vocês devem ser todos vituoses do instrumento...
