She Will Be Loved Chapter 11

Saffron's POV--

It's been three months since they left; three months since she's fallen into a odd depression; three months since her naturally black hair has been dyed a platinum blonde. In just three short months, Autumn has completely changed. What's changed? Everything. She dresses way different and acts different. She ditches school and when she's there she's making out with every boy in sight. Church is now a joke. She won't go, she says that it's stupid and that God isn't real. She hardly ever eats. She always parties. She got a nose ring, a double piercing on both of her ears, a triple piercing on her left ear and her left cartilage pierced. I don't know what might happen if she keeps living like this. I've been giving the boys updates on her and they're scared too. They convinced their mom and dad that they were good for her and that they could change her. They're coming to visit, they being Kevin, Joe, and Nick... yes all of them, today. The boys should be here any minute.*Ding dong* They're hear!
Kevin: So how's she doing?
Joe: Where is she?
Me: She's ehh, okay. And she's in her room.
Nick: This is all my fault.
Kevin: Mom made us do it.
Joe: Can we see her?
Me: If she comes out of her room. AUTUMN! GET OUT HERE! QUICK! IT'S AN EMERGENCY!
Autumn: What the hell are you doing here?! What do you want Saffron.
Kevin: Oh.
Joe: My.
Nick: God.
Me: They came to visit you! See they do care!
Autumn: Fuck you.
Nick: If that's what you really want.
Joe: All of us?
Kevin: Gross!
Autumn: Leave.
Nick: You need us.
Autumn: I'm perfectly fine.
Joe: Then why are you dressed like a slut?
Autumn: I'm not dressed like a slut or a whore. This is me. Take it or leave it.
Kevin: We'll take it. Let's go.
Autumn: Saffron, what the hell did you and mom sign me up for?
Saffron: Well... momandIdecidedthatyouweregettingtoocrazyforussowearrangedforyoutogolivewiththeJo­nasfamilybecausewethinkitwouldbegoodforyou.
Autumn: I'm not going.
Kevin: Oh you're going. And you'll live by our rules.
Autumn ran back into her room and locked the door. I'm assuming that she barracaded it too by all the noise she was making. The boys looked at eachother and darted up the stairs and started pounding on the door.
Kevin: Autumn, come out here right now. Or else.
Autumn: Or else what? You can't touch me.
Joe: I'll break down this door!
Autumn: Good luck with that.
Nick: Please?
Autumn: Nope.
Nick: Because you love me?
Autumn: In your dreams.
Nick: You've definitely been in them.
Autumn: Sorry, still not working Romeo.
Nick: I'm only Romeo if you're Juliet.
Autumn: Will you guys just leave?
Kevin: Only if you come with us.
Autumn: I won't and you can't make me.
That sent Kevin over the edge. He made a deal with his mom and dad that he'd act as the parent and take full responsibility of Autumn while she was with them. He started kicking down the door, which he promised he'd fix later. We walked in to find all of her clothes and favorite things packed and gone. She was nowhere to be found.
Kevin: Autumn Starr, I know you're in here. So come out of your hiding spot and talk to us. We promise we won't get mad at you.
Joe: Dude, speak for yourself.
Kevin: Well, everyone but Joe promises to not be mad.
Silence...
Kevin: We can do this the easy way or the hard way. Pick your poison.
Silence...
Kevin: I guess we're doing this the hard way.
