NUS Votes Earth

We are now approaching a tipping point of the climate. Scientists have warned that we have only little time left to make a change, and that change must be nothing less than revoluntionary.

Vote for Earth in NUS and join in the fight against climate change. For the 4 initiatives:

1) Phase out free plastic bags in NUS Canteens
2) Mandate double sided printing of all NUS submissions and official documents
3) Set all lecture theatres to 25 degrees.
4) Participate to go without meat every Thursdays. *(this is a voluntary movement, canteens will still be selling meat as usual)

May humanity come to solve the biggest challenge ever in the whole of human's history.

I'm all for the 4 initiatives. Especially eating less meat. However, not everyone might be conscious about these issues. It may be a good idea have 'teasers' in school, before launching a big campaign like this. You know, like big companies have teaser adverts a few weeks before their actual product or concept is launched officially. I Think the meatout and the plastic bag campaigns might be a bit trickier to push thru than the rest.
