Origin into Schools Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 3 of 3

November 18, 2009 a group of us were part of a national gospel outreach where we distributed 170,000 copies of a special 150th anniversary addition of Charles Darwin's Origin of Species. Its a special addition because it also includes a 50-page introduction, written by Ray Comfort. In the introduction Ray presents some fascinating facts about Darwin and then goes into refuting the THEORY of evolution. The most special feature about this book is the fact that Ray also included a very clear Gospel presentation.

Our team went to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and distributed 1,000 copies of the book. This was a great opportunity to actually talk to students and faculty. The book was an easy bridge to talking about spiritual matters, and then on to talking about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The goal of our project was to get the Gospel into the hands of the students and faculty and by GODS grace we boast in HIM in accomplishing the mission.

Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

You will find that the belt buckles had a clear gospel message too, "Got Mit Tuns." Translated into "God With Us." Sounds very atheistic to me? I'm a theist, but I have to say Ray Comfort and Kirt Cameron should know what they are talking about before looking like the clowns they are. It is a disgrace to Christians who accept God and reason and they can coexist.

I don't think you were aware of this, but Kirt Cameron and Ray Comfort are known to bastardize scripture to fit their point of view. As for the fasinating facts that you seemed to point out are in the introduction, They are nothing more than the typical lies and fallacies many young earth creationist spit out such as Darwin and Hitler.

I believe in evolution because I can see it happening. I believe in science because we do many labs here at calpoly to prove it to ourselves that this is how the world really works. I don't want to believe in something just "because the bible says so." We the engineers, doctors, and scientists work hard to save many lives out there. The only thing I see the churches doing is brain washing ppl and making them feel bad for nothing.
