Out with my cousin, Captain Seth Leto of Pristine Florida Fishing Charters in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

We went out about 3 miles off Anclote Key to a nice coral bottom fishing spot Seth knows to do some fishing and diving. We caught grouper & a little tunny. Although visibility was about 6ft or so, there was plenty of stuff to look at. Diving is awesome! Whether you are quadriplegic or paraplegic, you can dive. I was certified post injury by SSI, but there is the HSA (Handicapped SCUBA Association) who certifies divers of all levels of injury.

Make sure you're doctor says you're fit for diving, and always dive with a buddy!

  • That is awesome. If you don't have an underwater camera due to cost, I you can still get a used panasonic lumix dmc-ts2 (waterproof to 33 feet but make sure it is the ts2) $299 or even much less on ebay. If you need the waterproof case to take to 130 feet, the panasonic dmw-mcft2 marine case is also available in places on the internet. My daughter and I each have one and it takes great video with sound as well as photos. The only prob I found is that to put on disc, it only converts to blueray.
