Why Carry Concealed

@TigerGrumman First of all, your number is very inflated. Bureau of statistics put total gun deaths at less than half of your number. Of those, fewer than 9000 were homicides. Most gun deaths are suicides. Plus, the areas with the highest rate of gun crime are those that have the most restrictive gun laws (i.e. Washington DC). 99.9% of CCW holders pray that they NEVER have to draw their weapon in a defensive situation. I hope you're happy living in Japan. I hear it's a very nice country.

@mba2ceo Then they shouldn't be carrying concealed. Every person that I know that has a CCW is of the mind set that we hope that we NEVER have to even draw our weapons in a defensive situation. However, if the circumstances warrant it, then we will be prepared.

And Charles Bronson carried a gun concealed to ______..
I won't go there.
Good video. Conflict avoidance is a skill every CCW owner should master!

Hmm. Makes me wonder why it would change so much, with the same actions possibly warranting different responses from the justice system, if not just the police. Thanks for the reply.

@LWPD327 Thank you for your service in law enforcement. Much respect and stay safe!

Why carry concealed? Because criminals carry concealed. Provided you can legally carry concealed in your state. Excellent video and the same thing applies to home owners that have shotguns loaded with 00buck, just know that you are sending NINE 00 projectiles through walls, doors, sheetrock etc... if you live in an apt. situation. I carry concealed because I am a police officer, but in the state of Missouri to get a CCW you must shoot both revolver and semi auto to get the license,+pass the test
3:11 Drag them back to your castle? That doesn't seem like a good idea. Wouldn't it be better to explain that they stumbled out from their injuries, rather than explain the drag marks back to your house?

@huyked Different times back then. You have to remember that that was over 20 years ago and in a different state than I live in now. Nowadays, it's not such a good idea.

I love gun rights and carry a weapon myself, but technically carrying a concealed weapon is not a constitutional right, unless it is part of your state constitution. Handgun ownership in itself IS a constitutional right though according to McDonald v Chicago (2010). Thus why those slime balls in Chicago and other places can no longer ban handgun ownership.

@patrioticmarine87 You bring up a very interesting point. I guess the only thing I would add is that it's not just the right to carry a gun concealed, but the right to protect yourself by any means you see fit. As a former Illinois resident, I feel their pain!
