Danes are so happy! Why?

I was asked to make a video about my opinion on why I think Danish people are always told and said are the happiest in the world.

This was really interesting, I think you have a point! I've never really thought about it because I do not believe that you can measure happiness at all, it's too abstract like the way people feel pain and such. BUT I now, as Julie, have an explanation to why I am not happy (cough cough) it's because I was born in 93 :(

I think some of the reason is due to that we as Danes don't has so much to worry about, If something goes wrong in life, you are secured from head to ass. To end up living in the gutter requires determination and really really hard work.

Mostly because i wasnt there to experience it. It still nags me.

I think our general sense of safety has a lot to say.. of course, sweden and norway have many of the same priviledges that we do.

And as you say, it's a long list of things, that combined, make us more content as a country.

Danes seem to be fairly cynical to me. But happy nonetheless, I suppose.
