Same, I've been the same since I was born. When I was a baby the tiny buzz would always make me irritable. I could always tell if there was a TV on in the room and would ask me peers if they heard the TV (not really hearing eh? It's like a different sense) and they said they heard or felt nothing. Strange.

Haven't had TV in my parents' house since I was about...twelve. At first, they just didn't have the cash. Then we realized the house is quieter, there's more opportunity for creativity and book reading, and imagination grows. And yes, I don't really turn on the dorm TV much, either. Unless it's the food channel.

@piqwry71 It's been like ten years for me. I get a headache every time I see some T.V. and I start yelling at it and all the lies that come out of it. Commercials online as well. It's a constant insult to my intelligence. They talk to everybody like they're 4! You shouldn't even talk to 4 year old's like that! Soon the internet will be just like T.V. they did the same thing with commercials here and there and then before you know it that's all you see is one great big advert.

notquite lucid. maybe you have become hollowed out. but for some, it allows you to see through and lift the veil of ignorance. drugs make you more articulate and self-aware, this is why they are still around, and governments spend billions of dollars a year on propaghanda. " those with less control " look bud, what u fail to see, is that the more these PLANTS are used the less humans become interested in capitalism, paying towards a system that enslaves you, ect, cect drugs wake you up, hit a j

youtube can free your mind just as it an program you. u must think for yourself

@NotQuiteLucid, What the requirements are for omnipotence is entirely an individual opinion. But I will stand my ground on the topic of drugs. Powerful spiritualists have sometimes described how the frequent use of drugs literally 'hollows out' and weaken people. Those with less control slowly lose their grip on reality and connection to society as a whole. There are simply no shortcuts to spiritual awareness.
-
Look, if you don't want to use any drugs for any reason, spiritual or otherwise, that's your business. Just don't go around saying that your way is the best way or that it is superior. It isn't. Plenty of people could benefit from a good ayahuasca trip.

No it's not. Omnipotence is a paradox. You can't create a rock so heavy you cannot lift it, thus you are not omnipotent. Paradoxical. I plan my drug trips too. I put myself in a good, quiet setting (or one conducive to the effects I want) and put my mind in the proper corresponding state via meditation (which I enjoy doing, unaided or with drugs!)
Sometimes accidents happen during a trip. But the whole thing being an accident? Not by any means.
I located the buzz coming from the TV . It buzzes even when it is off. There are nine levels of programming involved in tv I haven't looked back. I got the cable out of the house and gave up tv because I was watching too much youtube.

It's been about 13 years since I've made the decision not to have tv. When I tell people this people just can't believe it, like I just told them I don't breathe air or don't eat food lol I get this reaction from all education levels.
