Well considering they are rated for 2500 rms at 1 ohm and they are capable of around 3500 rms, yes they are way underrated.

All depends on what ohm load you have it wired, your electrical setup, song, box, etc etc.

I cant really tell you how fast it will get warm because it varies from application to application. But the sub is a tank for sure.

would u all take a mtx 9500 12 or this? i have a 9500 12 in my truck on a zx1500.1 and its sound quality is great. but for being called a " super woofer" i expect it to get alot louder than it does.

ok if i get a soundstream xxx-6500D and run at 14.4v which is 3290rms at 2ohms would i fry a btl? or should i run 4ohms and do 1750? i know they are way underrated and i will be getting a fully loaded daily
