  • with Thinkpads... you want to own it forever.. with Mac... you just want to get rid of the old products, once another new product comes out after 5 months, as you will be seen as uncool or cheap ass if you still use the old Mac product... so which one is better....

  • Love the designs of the Thinkpads and their sturdiness/solidity. Every component seems to be placed on the right spot and they coexist very harmoniously in an abundant air flowing space. I hate the plastic feel, the flimsiness, the weight, and the glossy look of the average mainstream laptop. I am so happy with my T42 atm, the next laptop I'll get will probably be the x300 which will probably stay with me for a few years.

  • i mustn't know, obviously, even though I'm in charge of that, right?

    shit quality?

  • okay, we have about 200 dell desktops (optiplexes) in our computer labs and we rarely have issues with them.

how do you know that those "bestbuy repairshop numbers" aren't software issues?

  • dells are reliable but they have lackluster components.

maybe you don't know shit about computers, mr. robert haze?

  • how is my computer shitty, then?

can you tell me specific reasons why I should have chosen a mac, let alone a dell or gateway laptop?
