Coyotes Kill Deer Trail Cam

These Coyotes are slowly kill this beautiful deer. Watch the time sequence at the bottom of the pictures to see how long it took the deer to die. Notice that in some of the pictures the deer's head is down but it is not dead. Coyotes, wolves and other predators will eat or rip out the hind quarters of an animal this size before they actually kill it, so that they can get it to stop running etc.... They are eating it before it is dead.
I am a hunter myself and I can't understand why some people think this is humane because wild animals do it but when I kill a deer with a painless broad head in two minutes it is unethical and inhumane.

Shoot the coyotes, they are nasty ass animals, and yes they will do this to a alone person, I'm a hunter and that was a nice buck! I would have camped out with a .300 and a .410 and blasted em' happy hunting!

great video. I am thinking that the deer was maybe hit by a car or had some injury but who know maybe they were just some badass coyotes

You should of put the camera on Motion Video instead of stiles would of been interesting to see them at work on how they take down their prey

@mikedvc your statement is 100% true, but the staple of coyotes, at least eastern coyotes here is small game and rodents, for them to go after deer they must be desperate, however by the looks of these pictures they look healthy, most people hunt during the big game season, and over look predator control completely which is a shame, unchecked numbers of predators on your property will destroy both big and small game hunting

This is not humane and noone should think it so. These are wild animals hunting for food, with no concept of humanity. Only human beings can possess humanity, or act without it. Look for African Wild Dog videos here and you'll ssee this is a common technique used by smaller canids to take down large prey. Its not pleasant, but its not humane or inhumane.
