the setup consists of a black & decker 2.5A wet/dry vacuum with custom velvet-lip wand and centerweight, and a brush with fibers made for this purpose. the solution is three quarters distilled water, one quarter 99% pure rubbing alcohol, and a tiny amount of residue-minimizing lens soap (photoflo).

  • IT PROBABLY WORKS WELL...

BUT ITS FUCKIN DODGEY ON THE TECHNICS MAN ??

  • well done, probably works fine. how do you collect the vacuumed off fluid? is there a reservoir on the pipe somewhere?

  • this is funny. i bet that was a fairly new lp. you did not play before & after audio to compare.

  • How does this work compared to those expensive record cleaners? And what's that cylinder thing you placed on the label of the record?

  • ya where did ya get the ntlon brush and how did you make the vacum tip ?

  • Cool, specifically what type of brush is it? I'm trying to clean some dusty vinyl.
