How to make tabs in guitar pro 5

this is a tutorial from prayer2666 how to make tabs in guitar pro 5 or another version, ill just use 5. REMEMBER these are just the basict, there are lotsa other stuff you can do with guitar pro, i started to think to make a tut, cous headbanger15 jody was stuck in guitar pro 5 to make tabs.

In any case, GP5 is pretty simple.

Just fill in the numbers corresponding with the fret number and you are done.

This work for all instruments except drums, they have a specific list of midi notes which appear whenever you make a drum part.

@Darkdayzz nice explaination sherlock :p but i find it rather difficult to know your way in gp5 for your first time, for me it was like waking up in china xp but this video is 4 y/o when i watch it now it feels like a 4 y/o boy made it xo so about this video, my care-cup is pretty much empty, but i want to disprove the scentence containing your point: Just fill in the numbers corresponding with the fret number and you are done.

@prayer2666 this is a bunch of expensive words, i totally agree its truth of this matter but! i had to explain to a lot of ppl how to even read tabs, how can you expect one to understand this if knowledge is not accuired how to play them? what you say is right, you, i and over 9000 more will agree, judging this video, everyone must commit this looks noobisch, this is something beginners, and my 4 y/o alter ego should watch :p

Lol, a full note is not always 2 seconds. It depends on the tempo...

its wrong, its not a two second note, means the whole bar, its not about time, its about duration. If you write a whole note, no matter what time signature that note will last the whole bar. The other notes are fractions of the whole note. YOU NEED MUSIC LESSONS DUDE!

My problem is it always creates a new bar before i've finished adding the riff. How do i make the bars bigger or stop guitar pro from automatically going to the next bar when i'm still entering tab ? It would be much better if i could choose when the next bar is created. Does anyone know how to do that ?
