A free lesson from www.brightonguitarlessons.co.uk from our 'Beginning Lead Guitar' course. In this lesson, BGL tutor Henry Outhwaite brings together everything taught in the Beginning Lead course so far, in teaching a short solo inspired by Oasis's, 'Champagne Supernova'.

  • I'm sorry,I was just wondering is that Micro Cube or Cube 15x?

  • @933Bane Hi. That's the 20x. We always go for that one for teaching because it has the extra effects on it. Well worth spending a littlre extra to get one. Henry

  • Worst part is that I cant stop playing it and the missus is getting pissed off!

Man I gotta start doing some lead stuff, bit bored with just doing the chords.

Any Pearl Jam leads? We're doing an acoustic tribute at pubs n clubs in the future, would be handy to know some easy stuff to add some colour to some songs.

I know the pentatonic scale but bugger all else!

I like the way you teach,so any help would be great

    Cheers

  • @leesmartin @leesmartin @leesmartin Hi Lee. Have a look at our website & you'll find things in the 'beginning' and 'developing lead guitar' sections. You might like the 'extended pent minor' lesson, which is a scale pattern from which a million licks can be taken and is easy to use. As far as 'famous' solos go, we're trying to avoid copyright problems but keep an eye on us because we've got more coming soon.

  • Wicked mate,Your explanation was great.Easy to learh,Cheers from Oz

  • @leesmartin You're welcome! Glad you found it useful. Henry

  • Very helpful thank you so much :)

  • Easier to learn if you moved a bit closer to the screen

  • Cheers fella,will give it a crack

  • @noeski76 I already know the solo.... I just wanted to see other people trying it to see what is like. when I say I don't intend to take lessons on the net it is because I learn better by ear, just that. Don't make it a big thing.
