to all whom don't understand .. viscous coupling (haldex) is a electro-magnetic clutch that resides between rear diff and drive shaft.. so awd drive based on ecu control via slip/traction.. remove fuse and it will not engage .

@anyone who's trying to say this isn't an r32 engine are fucking retards... just because your average joe can't disengage the rwd while driving doesn't mean you can do it via the ecu or more simply disable the drive shaft... they're not welded!! as previous comments have explained they disengage the rwd to get a more accurate hp reading its been done with the audi tt 3.2 which is the SAME engine AND awd system

@whitematilda Yes, it is... All you have to do is unplug the connector on the Haldex ECU.... I'm assuming this was probably said earlier but Id just figured Id re-post it to you and anyone else who's not going to look at older posts.
