James Hunley teaches classical guitar technique for the left hand using this exercise. Right hand plays two strings at a time with p and i, and p and m. i and m are alternating throughout. Very good exercise for beginners. Before doing this exercise it is recommended to go through Beginning Classical Guitar Exercises 1,2, and 3.
