Sweeping lesson:If you have never used sweep picking this is for you. Also, more advanced sweepers might learn some tricks to improve their sweeping tone as well.

Contains:
* Right hand exercise
* Left hand exercise
* Hand Synchronization exercise
* Advanced illustration of sweep picking
* Immature humour

This lesson is inspired by a live video video clinic I held at GMC: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showtopic=30628&s...

  • Amazing video

  • If we use hammer ons and pulls off then whhy should we do the picking? :S

  • @MendozaMichelle100 It's kind of like how you don't necessarily need to pick every note if you're doing a hammer on or pull off, but skipping strings as well. A lot of dexterity and control I'd imagine.

  • How are the notes sounding in second exercise if he's not picking?

  • Is that Devin Townsend narrating at the beginning?!

  • @TrippySmash Scalloped fret board is actually harder to play because you can't push down to hard without fucking the pitch, so no, probably not easier.

  • Thank you so much for this video, breaking it down into 3 parts really makes it so much easier and really encourages you to keep going once you get down one part, much appreciated, ps. Your sick at guitar my friend

  • Does having a scalped fret board like urs help?
