Living Earth Foundation and Bristol Zoo Gardens have been working with a local NGO - Fondation Camerounaise de la Terre Vivante - to address the bushmeat crisis in Cameroon. More and more wild animals - including baboons, gorillas and chimpanzees- are being killed and sold for food. In this video, community leaders from around the Dja Reserve discuss the impact that commercial poaching is having on their forest and suggest ways forward. Above all, they emphasise the importance of ensuring that the voices of those living in - and dependent on - the forest, are included in the debates.
