foster care took my nieces and nephews away

i know before i said it was wrong, but i know it anit, its the social workers who are wrong when they falsly accuse ppl just to give them pay back

It's easy to be a parent for a day, what about all the time. All the pictures are of one snapshot of life.

"CPS" doesn't walk downm the street looking for kids to take. If you cared so much about them, why didn't or couldn't you take them?

That is the sickest song I have ever heard! Just getting the child to sing it qualifies as some sort of abuse at best, misguided coersion, at worse. I find it really difficult to believe that any kids are taken away just to spite good parents. Lets take a good look at ourselves before we exploit children with poorly crafted songs and stories.

@CPSSucks I understand that you are bitter, but please do not put down foster parents...especially when most of us are doing it for the right reasons. Mandi is right, without the CPS, abused children would have no one to advocate for their safety and wellbeing.I'm a foster parent and an adoptive parent, and I amproud to be one. And although the system is not perfect, I'm glad to have them to protect our kids...

@CPSSucks PART 2 showed that we were VERY good and we never had a single complaint. Our new adoption worker was on a power trip and accused us of potentially having Maunchausens (sp?) because we had so many hospital trips with our foster children because of an outbreak of Influenza. I fought them SO BAD, and she got in a load of trouble, and we got a formal apology.But there really are some nasty people who work there, but it's THEM who cause problems..not the entire agency

@CPSSucks you know,the one thing that I AM willing to agree with here,is that there are MOST DEFINITELY people within the CPS/CAS who LOVE being power hungry, and completely use it to their advantage..for their own selfish and sick purposes, I have experienced this myslef.When we wanted to adopt our foster children, our new adoption worker denied us, saying that because Ihad such a terrible childhood,that I could never be a good parent,even though in our foster care chart, ALL records(seept 2)

@SampsonGirl1987 if these foster parents are not allowing you to see your nephew, then complain to CPS..because CPS are your nephew's legal guardians..NOT the foster parents. I know this post is old..but it makes me so mad when I see foster parents unwilling to allow family contact. It's wrong and it goes against the very philosophy of child protection...not to mention that it's selfish..and selfishness is one quality that ANY foster parent should NEVER have....

@CPSSucks you really need to cool it abit,and see the whole picture rather than just your version of it.How fair is that to put us good foster parents in the same category at pedophiles?I'm sorry for what has happened to you and in fact,i myself have even had one false allegation made against me by my kids' school when I'M the one who approached THEM as to why my daughter had such annextensive bruise on her leg,so I understand how frustrating that could be. CPS SAVES lives...

@johng2777 - was being too poor or having a dirty house the reason some of those kids were in foster "care" - cause they get brutally ripped from their parents all the time because CPS lies and says that the house was dirty or dangerous or not rich enough. Anyone who believes the lies CPS tells them, needs their head examined, and is not competent to look after kids.

@blessedmommy73 - I'm not bitter, that is a poor choice of words, and a recurring refrain from pro-CPS workers who like to accuse me of having lost my children. I despise CPS because I see them for what they are: the most brutal and vicious gang of hypocrites that ever existed - they pretend to protect children, while destroying them. Not all foster parents are bad, some, a few are good. Too many, however, are very bad.

i was took from my mommy when i was 7,& at the time it was the worst thing that could possibly happen to me. had it not been for my aunt and uncle taking me i would be in a foster home with total strangers, and would've never had contact with my actual family.im now 16,lookin' back im glad i was taken away, because my mother is on drugs even worse than before, she wont change.

-but im not sayin' foster care aint always right either, its very easy now days to be accused of somethin' u didnt do.
