Battle from Grind Time DMV's Collateral Damage event. Grind Time DMV's D'Meitz takes on Grind Time Georgia's Carter Deems. During a intermission during the event, the camera man had his light stolen. Thus the reason for the dark screen.

  • Watching a guy I went to a suburban high school with in a rap battle is really funny.

Especially when he talks about spraying gats and other "street" bullshit.

  • DMeitz is stupid everything he says is forced and sounds corny.

  • Meitz' punk rock references went over crowd's heads, but daaaaym

  • U guys need to make carter deems GTN'S new president. word up....

  • @amouretmorte i disagree, ive seen a few of his battles and for the most part he tries too hard, spitting obscure references doesnt equate to great performance. when he stops and looks at the crowd when they dont react he comes off as a pretentious douchebag. dmeitz is capable, his battle against ice'alino shows how good he can be!

  • whats the reason for the giant fuckin GRINDTIMENOW logo!!!

  • @TreeBearOne he spits some of the best bars you'll hear in battle rap. Lyrically he is up there with the best (which is why most of the crowd doesn't understand those who get it, listen carefully usually react) but he needs to improve on his delivery and be more agreesive (when need be).

  • want to see a good battlerapper look up dont flop lunar c

  • @TreeBearOne Good, then... I guess... ?

  • @ObeseChess uhhh yeah, you really come off like that too!

  • @TreeBearOne I don't take anything seriously.

  • @ObeseChess its called "artistic license", you shouldnt take that "street" bullshit too seriously

  • @7Va0Ba3 If you think his shit flies over my head like i dont know what he's refrencing then youre a dumbass.. That shit aint even impressive to me at all.. Its just the way he carries himself is annoying but at times he does have some okay material.

  • @Doonie602 guess all the molly you take while listening to shitty ass dubstep is ruining your mind, maybe your more of a simple person then i though

  • in every one of dmeitz's battles he spits some average bars and then looks at the crowd when they dont react like they dont get what he said, we get it dmeitz, its just not very good!

  • @7Va0Ba3 hahaha thats the dumbest comment ive ever gotten.

  • @Doonie602 everything he says just goes over your simple little lil wayne listening mind

  • Dmeitz content is extremely well written and lyrically creative and deep.

But cmon man the topic at hand is your opponent in a rap battle

and if relatively mentioning something about who your facing and tying in something is your idea of that... Then you are going to take a lot of L's.

im sorry. stop wasting lyrical talent and tear your fucking opponent apart with it in a demoralizing spectra.

Fuck anyone saying dumb it down...

Just be more on point in the bars

  • Fuckin awesome battle. People hatin on DMeitz just dont get his bars. Over peoples heads. Deems multis kill it. Just a dope battle.

  • damn carter is a beast ...respect to him ..i see why he studders ..his lines and schemes are so complex its gotta be hard to remember let alone spit it flawlessly..what up wit atm though???

  • who pays to get into a battle and steals a camera mans light ???lol..

  • @nmryda Totally valid. Everyone cant be into everything and thats something you should think about in a battle. Music is another story entirely. I just figured since all these hip hop artists are dressing and advertising themselves as "rockstars" that they gave a shit about different genres and not just fashion...but thats a different argument.

  • 11:26 lmao, Dwight Shrute and Ice Cube.

  • @xxxBoOgTVxxx That's dumb as hell though. Why would you be in a rap battle referencing punk rock bands? That's not "going over people's heads"; that's horrible target marketing and poor penmanship. Don't get me wrong, I fucks wit' D-Meitz, but lately in his battles his punchlines have been hella forced and he acts surprised when people don't react. It's like he tries wayyyy too hard to be witty or somethin' idk he needs to step his game up for real

  • @xxxBoOgTVxxx

I think D'meitz doesnt need to change his style, but dumb it down based on his surroundings.

  • D'Meitz just goes right over people's heads. He needs to learn to roll with the punches better though.
