Also dealers said the company was not helping them out in any way. The bankruptcy was a combination of high prices, lack of investors and bad company policies. The media gave them plenty of attention, but they couldn't use all the free publicity well.

The thing is it is only 40 mile range. It might be decent if it was 80 mile range and this probably could be done if the body was made out of carbon fiber and Lithium Ion batteries instead of Nickel Metal Hydride which with today's technology is not as good as Lithium ion.
