2962 INDORE - MUMBAI CENTRAL AVANTIKA EXPRESS - ANAS KHAN

This is 2962 Indore - Mumbai Central AVANTIKA EXPRESS which is going to arrive at platform no.4 of Ratlam Junction railway station in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. The train goes via. Ujjain, Ratlam, Vadodara , Surat to Mumbai Central railway station of Mumbai. The train is the only connection of Indore, the commercial capital of Madhya Pradesh with Mumbai, the commercial capital of India. The train is hauled by Ratlam WDM diesel locomotives from Indore to Ujjain and than with Vadodara BRC electrical locomotives from Ujjain till Vadodara. The train earlier runs between Indore and Bandra which than intended to Mumbai Central.

I sat with some cool sadhus, in the early 70´s on a little blue temple, that used to be right besides the station. I wonder wether it is still there

Nice video friend. Ratlam Jn is truly an excellent rail fanning spot. I went there on 27/6/2010. Saw a number of freights; BTPN rake, BCNA rake, BOXN rake and specially, a BCNHL rake. There were TKD WAG-5's, Angul WAG-7, ASN WAG-5 etc. Also, I spotted Dehradoon-Bandra exp(both up and down)...
