@iiwona oh cmon dont be so biased about germans. thats just ridiculous. i dont mean that the translated version is better in lip sync or better verbalized, i mean that some voices in comparison sound to me better fitting than the voices of the actors to some characters they play. english series/movies are very well translated in germany if you would speak german you would be perfectly happy with them

@Ruchsacksepp I get your point. Still, You can't switch from one version to another if you watch the show as it airs on TV. Also, there is no way that German voice overs can suit the characters better than the original voices. Original by DEFINITION is better. In one of his interviews for German TV, Hugh Laurie made a joke that Germans like to think that the German translation of Shakespeare is better than the original. Your comment seems to fit right in. Anyways, glad you're enjoying the show.

@iiwona when i want to get a sense of tone etc i switch my dvds from german to english (i do that often) i dont need the dub to understand it and 50% of the german voice overs suit the charakter more than their original voices do e.g. J.D. from scrubs

It's really ennoying how people criticize the dub here. House is available in the original version as well as in a variety of subbed versions. Just pick what you like and enjoy the show.

@OropherThranduil No you don't. And if you ask any actor, for the most part they're not in favor of your full dubbing. Hugh Laurie isn't. And go to hell with your racist comments. Who's asking you to watch House in Polish in the first place?

@Ruchsacksepp It does suck but less than a full dub, which I know they do in Germany. Notice that the original voices aren't completely muted so you get a sense of tone, intonation, pitch, etc.
