iOS 6 Passbook App Demo, Tutorial and cool Passes on iOS Beta

Have you heard of the new app that Apple is releasing with iOS6?

It's called Passbook and they say it's the simplest way to get all your passes in one place.
I reckon it's pretty cool, and something my wallet really needs!!!. I've had the chance to play with the beta version but before I was able to play with it I had to find some passes. Fortunately I came across this new, very handy, easy to use site: PassK.it http://passk.it

There's a load of sample passes on it and easy to add to your Passbook.

yes - I agree, it really is pretty cool! I love how the image is blurred in the background for the tickets. I am surprised it didn't work if all the other sample passes work. Do you have any other event type passes?

sorry to hear that TabbyTabTabOmega. It adds to my Passbook fine. Do you have iOS6 Beta v2 installed on your iPhone or iPod Touch?

Obviously it won't work if you try to get in a Lady gaga concert! ;-) But hopefully ticket issuers sort that out so in the future we can go to the concert with just our phones and not those 20th century paper tickets! :-)

if you enter valid information, can u use it in public? like if i had a coupon and i wanted to use it at the register, could i scan my idevice and validly use it?

Definitely give it a go. I'd love to hear if it's possible. I wouldn't have thought it was possible unless the vendor had already worked with PassK.it to integrate it into their processes etc...

You take them to the vendor, they scan it on your phone, you go in to your event, flight, travel, use your coupon or gift card etc.
