Today I present to you my Mame Review of Area 51 released in 1995 on the Atari Cojag Hardware (Coin Operated Jaguar). Here I am playing the Sega Saturn version. This review has been a long time comming since it has taken me this long to perfect my gunplay video style. Enjoy.

will this work with the guncon 2 on the playstation 3?? if u don't know that's fine, i just want to know a bit cause im gettn a ps3soon.

No, Area 51 does not even work with the original guncon. It only works with Konami's Justifyer gun or a compatible generic gun. On the ps1 there were two types of gun games guncon games and justifyer/generic gun games. Plus ps1 games are not compatible with the guncon 2 at all since it uses a usb port instead of a regular controller port (I have tried on my ps2)

i think he means games like time crisis 4 with the guncon 2.

Reguardless, the Guncon 1 and Guncon 2 will not work on Playstation 3. The Guncon 3 that came with Time Crisis 4 will only work with Time Crisis 4, not earlier games.

Actually Sir, Atari & Williams Merged. SO, Technically the game was MADE by Atari.. THEN they went bankrupt and had to close the entire thing... Quite sad really :(
