Wow!! Amazing footage Steve! That might have been large enough hail to warrant a severe thunderstorm warning from the national weather service!

We are on Violet Lantern... looks like just down teh street from you. Great video. Thanks for posting. CRAZY.. 2 days ago 90+ degree weather, yesterday's high was 85 in Dana Pt... today, 7:03 am, woken up by hail!!!!???!!! biggest ones we found were about the size of a big gumball or roughly quarter sized.
